Hope House Community Foodclub Volunteers.JPG

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way, we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said,

‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Our Volunteer Teams

Our Volunteer Teams

Hope Nottingham would not exist without the support of its volunteers, both past and present. We have approximately 370 volunteers supporting Hope House, Carlton Community Hub and our satellite food banks across the city.  You can find out more about our work Empowering Volunteers here and about current Volunteering Opportunities here

In addition to our registered  volunteers, we are regularly supported by ad hoc volunteers, those who fund or food raise for us, those who support The Trussell Trust Tesco supermarket collection days, run fundraising events for us, take part in food parcel packing sessions or who save us valuable funds by offering their labour and services to help maintain our premises. Find out about Corporate Volunteering and Partnerships here.

Every hour of time given, really makes a huge difference to our work, for which we are truly grateful.

Our Board of Trustees act as our governing body and are ultimately responsible for everything we do.  The Board is made up entirely of volunteers who do not receive any remuneration.
